Waipuna Hospice is an Incorporated Society providing palliative care to the Western Bay of Plenty community with services from Paengaroa to Waihi Beach.

Hospice staff care for each person as an individual, taking into account the person's physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs.  We encourage people who are terminally ill and their families to maintain independence.  We provide support, assistance and information and work in partnership with the patient's General Practitioner.

The roof shout is always a milestone for any building project.   Belevedere Construction and Waipuna Hospice hosted a celebration recently to thank all those who have been involved so far and highlight the steady progress that has been made thanks to the generosity of many companies and individuals.  Work will continue on completing the interior, fitting the bathrooms and kitchen, and establishing the landscaping.  Take a drive out to Hastings Road at The Lakes in Tauriko to see what's been done to date.  The property is due to be completed and on the market in March.
